Quote in context not as bad as it looks but still lol. OBAMA: “We’re the Miami Heat, and Romney is Jeremy Lin”

The New York Times: an unnamed aide told the paper the leader of the free world said this:

“No matter what moves Mr. Romney made, the president said, he and his team were going to cut him off and block him at every turn. “We’re the Miami Heat, and he’s Jeremy Lin,” Mr. Obama said, according to the aide.”

OK, so it’s not as bad as I thought, but still, rule number one with azns, DON’T MAKE FUN OF JEREMY LIN.

Rule number 2 of NBA fans: DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO THE MIAMI HEAT FOR GOODNESS SAKES.
Now I am not a fan of Romney, I think he is a evil robot, but c’mon Obama, dissin Jeremy Lin for being Hype is kinda messed up. I get it, that ONE game vs the TEAM THAT BOUGHT A CHAMPIONSHIP. i get it. just ease up on the jeremy lin analogies. you got lebron who didn’t finish college vs lin who graduated from harvard. C’MON SON. he of all stories, IS THE STORY YOU SHOULD BE PUSHIN lol.
but i get it, it was out of context AND not in public eye. so i’ll give this one a pass. don’t be racist obama. jk lol.

About neaat

The NETWORK OF ENTERTAINING ASIAN AMERICAN TALENT ORG is an independent site for information on Asian American Arts, Talent, Culture, and Entertainment. NEAATO started as a myspace page under http://www.myspace.com/asianamericannetwork and also a blog in 2007 (http://www.neaat.wordpress.com/) by Donnytello Tran. The idea was made when we noticed our friends on Myspace were posting more information about their work online through bulletins instead of waiting to get published in magazines or an Asian American Blog. We decided to put all these ‘posts’ together and share it with anyone that was interested and NEAATO was born. The current NEAATO blog site is http://www.neaato.com/. NEAATO was inspired by Bruce Lee’s quote: “"To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.”
