Meisa Kuroki is a Japanese actress, model and singer born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. She is represented by Sweet Power, and models for the popular Japanese fashion magazine, JJ. Her mother is native-Ryukyuan. She has appeared in a number of television dramas, commercials, films, and stage productions. On June 21st, 2008, she released her debut single, “Like This”. Although she had sung in the 2007 drama, Crows ZERO, “Like This” was the first single she had sung under her real name.

20-year-old actress Meisa Kuroki has been chosen as the Japanese face of fashion brand Emporio Armani for 2009. She is succeeding actress Aoi Miyazaki, who served the same role last year.

This year’s campaign is being photographed by Takaki Kumada. Advertisements will begin running in the April issues of major fashion magazines, along with newspaper ads and billboards. The promotion will also appear on the brand’s website sometime this month.

Popular Japanese actress Aoi Miyazaki has been selected by Emporio Armani as their new print advertisement model. Although she’s quite popular in Japan, she has yet to gain international fame like Rinko Kukuchi — star of Babel. This new campaign may change things quite a bit though.
